GENERAL INFORMATION ON DATA PROCESSING We process personal data exclusively in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable German data protection laws. Personal data is processed only insofar as this is necessary for the performance of the accommodation contract, to comply with legal obligations, or on the basis of consent.

The data is provided either directly by the guest or transmitted to us via booking platforms.

BOOKING SYSTEMS AND SERVICES USED To manage bookings and guest data, we use in particular Smoobu Booking.com Feratel Google Gmail Airbnb

Processing is based on Article 6 paragraph 1 point b GDPR (performance of a contract) and Article 6 paragraph 1 point c GDPR (legal obligation).

ONLINE CHECK IN As part of the online check in via Smoobu, personal data is collected that is required to prepare the stay and to fulfil legal registration and tax obligations. Without this information, accommodation may not be possible or may only be possible to a limited extent.

COOKIES Our website and the booking and management systems we use employ technically necessary cookies. These cookies are required for the operation of the booking process and online check in. Use for analysis or marketing purposes takes place only with corresponding consent.

TRACKING AND GOOGLE PIXEL Our website may use Google Pixel to analyse website usage and to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. Processing takes place exclusively on the basis of prior consent in accordance with Article 6 paragraph 1 point a GDPR. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

MARKETING AND NEWSLETTERS If guests have expressly given their consent, we use contact details to send information relating to the stay or our holiday accommodation. Any further marketing communication or newsletters are sent only with prior consent and may be withdrawn at any time.

REVIEWS AND FEEDBACK REQUESTS After a stay, guests may be invited to submit a review or feedback, for example via Google Maps, Trustpilot, Booking.com or Airbnb. Participation is voluntary.

DATA TRANSFERS OUTSIDE THE EU OR EEA When using certain services, personal data may be transferred to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, for example the United States. Such transfers take place only where appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with Article 44 et seq. GDPR.

DATA RETENTION Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations.

RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS Data subjects have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Requests may be sent at any time to info@berg-flair.de.
